VCA Basketball Information
Both the Lady Lions and the Lions main goal is teaching young people to put Christ first in their lives. The bonus for both programs is the ability to teach these principles through the sport of basketball.
Lady LIONS:
The Lady Lions and the Lions basketball program has provided great excitement for the VCA campus over the years. The Lady Lions are coached by Kim Contreras. Coach Contreras has built a small school power with the Lady Lions program. Coach Kim Contreras won her 200th game during the 2016/17 season. Here is a list of the Lady Lions accomplishments in the past few years:

LIONS:
The Lions are coached by Brad Gunter Jr. The Lions and the “System” have led the state in scoring the past 3 of 4 years. The Lions also hold the state record/tied nationally for made 3’s in a game (33), and attempted 3’s in a game (120) is both a state and national record.
