High School Information
Valley Christian Academy is a non-denominational, coeducational, non-profit, full-time, college-preparatory day school founded in 1979 for grades 9-12. Valley Christian Academy aims to participate with parents in the development of Christ-centered children who are well informed in both the liberal arts and modern sciences. Valley Christian Academy (VCA) provides excellence in education in a nurturing, Christ-centered, and grace-oriented environment. Our mission is to challenge our students to become equipped to be loving, responsible adults who will have a positive impact upon themselves, their families, their community, and our beloved Lord.
ACCREDITATION
Valley Christian Academy is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
Curriculum
VCA’s core high school courses, Advance Placement, and Honors courses are on the UC A-G list. Valley Christian Academy is on a multi-period-day schedule for the year. To meet UC A-G requirements for graduation, VCA uses an array of high school curriculum that includes and is not limited to:

High School Hours
Monday through Friday: 8:15 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
Fridays: 8:15 a.m. to 11:45 p.m.
High School Bell Schedule
Grading Policy
Grades of A, B, C, D and F are used.
A cumulative grade point average is computed using a 4.0+ scale and includes all work completed in grades 9 through 12.
